Caught in a storm in the sailboat of grace

Thesis: Storms are inevitable, their timing is
unpredictable, but Christ is all powerful.
1. Storms often rise quickly and threaten us with
great danger to keep us from our God-
ordained destination. (Vs 22-23)
2. We often mistake God’s silence for apathy. (Vs
24a)
3. Every storm is an opportunity to experience
God’s power. (Vs 24b-25)
Applications:
1. Since Satan is the prince of power in the air we
should expect windstorms often.
2. Don’t participate in what the wind is doing.
3. We should be in more awe of the power of God
than in the bluster of the storm.
